Galli Maps is looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented project manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of internal software development projects. You will be responsible for managing multiple software projects across web, mobile, GIS, and platform products while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives by coordinating development activities, tracking progress, managing risks, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. You will primarily focus on internal product development, with limited external client coordination.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field. 
• 2 - 4 years of experience in software or IT project management. 

Job Description

• Plan, manage, and execute software development projects from initiation to delivery. 
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements. 
• Coordinate and collaborate with Development, GIS, QA, UI/UX, Product, DevOps, and Operations teams. 
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve dependencies and bottlenecks. 
• Gather, analyze, and document business and product requirements. 
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including BRDs, SRS, project plans, meeting minutes, status reports, and release documentation. 
• Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively resolve blockers. 
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. 
• Coordinate testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and product releases to ensure quality deliverables. 
• Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to management and stakeholders. 
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and workflows. 

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Microsoft Planner, or Trello. 
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.  
• Experience managing web or mobile application development projects. 
• Knowledge of GIS, mapping technologies, or API integrations is an added advantage. 
• Scrum, PMP, or other project management certifications are a plus.
