Nepali Content Writer

As a Nepali Content Writer, you'll be responsible for creating and managing high-quality content in the Nepali language. Your duties will include writing original content, translating English or other language content into Nepali, editing and proofreading, conducting keyword research, developing content strategies, and collaborating with other team members. Your work will play a vital role in reaching and engaging our Nepali-speaking audience.

Qualification and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, English, Nepali, or a related field is preferred.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in translating and transcribing from English to Nepali and vice versa.

Job Description

  1. Transcribe English audio or text into clear and comprehensive Nepali writing with proper punctuation, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
  2. Translate written material from English to Nepali while preserving the original context, tone, and style.
  3. Write original content in Nepali on a variety of topics, ensuring it is easily understandable for the target audience.
  4. Ensure consistency in terminology and language usage throughout the content writing, transcription, and translation process.
  5. Carefully proofread and edit transcribed, translated, and written content to maintain high quality and adherence to standards.
  6. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members to address any questions or concerns regarding the content.
  7. Stay updated on linguistic nuances and developments to enhance the quality and accuracy of transcription, translation, and content creation work.
  8. Participate in the development and refinement of processes and policies related to transcription and translation tasks.

 

Required Skills

  1. Fluency in both Nepali and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  2. Strong ability to write original long-form content in both English and Nepali.
  3. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
  4. Ability to work on a variety of transcription and translation projects across different topics with flexibility and adaptability.
  5. Familiarity with software and tools for transcription and translation is a plus.
