Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent law degree (Completed/Passed)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field
Job Description
1. Drafting, Review, and Revision of Agreements
- Draft, review, and revise legal agreements including contracts, partnership agreements, service agreements, and other commercial documents.
- Ensure all agreements comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify legal risks and provide recommendations to safeguard organizational interests.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all agreements.
2. Merchant Due Diligence and Documentation Screening
- Conduct thorough due diligence of merchant applications and supporting documents.
- Verify authenticity, completeness, and compliance of submitted documents.
- Assess legal and compliance risks associated with merchants.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on screening outcomes.
3. Policy and Guideline Development
- Draft, review, and update organizational policies, guidelines, and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure policies are legally sound, clear, and enforceable.
- Align internal guidelines with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Update policies based on regulatory changes and evolving business needs.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of contract law and legal compliance practices
- Excellent drafting and written communication skills in English and Nepali
- High attention to detail and ability to identify legal risks
