We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to design, execute, and analyze performance tests in distributed environments. The role involves ensuring applications are scalable, stable, and reliable under varying workload by leveraging modern tools, containerized platforms, and log analysis techniques. 

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
• Proven hands-on experience of 5 years in performance testing and engineering. 

Job Description

• Design and implement performance test strategies, plans, and scripts for APIs, web, and mobile applications. 
• Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing in distributed environments using tools like JMeter, k6. 
• Execute and monitor performance tests on containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher). 
• Analyze system performance, including CPU, memory, network utilization, and identify bottlenecks. 
• Perform log analysis to identify root causes of performance issues. 
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to fine-tune application performance and infrastructure scalability. 
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and automate distributed test executions. 
• Generate detailed reports with findings, insights, and optimization recommendations.

Required Skills

• Expertise in performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
• Strong knowledge of distributed performance testing on Docker & Kubernetes environments
• Solid scripting skills (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Understanding of system architecture, APIs, microservices 
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with Rancher
• Knowledge of database performance testing and tuning (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience setting up end-to-end monitoring dashboards (Grafana/Prometheus)
