We need a mid-to-senior dedicated backend engineer i.e., Software Engineer - PHP to accelerate delivery of features and plan for product expansion.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of prior work experience

Job Description

• Assume ownership of current running projects and lead the enhancement of our services
• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, including development, review, testing and deployment.
• Lead and collaborate closely with cross functional teams comprising product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver top-notch solutions
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and advocate for coding best practices and design patterns.
• Engage proactively in sprint planning, daily standups and retrospective meetings to ensure alignment with the project objectives

Required Skills

• Work experience as a PHP, Laravel and its ecosystem
• Hands-on experience in crafting RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL and ORM
• Familiarity with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and proficiency in design patterns.
• Knowledgeable with version control systems.
• Familiarity with Linux environment and server administration
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
