Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, Bsc. CSIT or any other related technical discipline.
  • Prior work experience of 5+ years as JAVA engineer with relevant experience in spring framework and its stack.

Job Description

  • Write well-designed, efficient and testable code.
  • Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
  • Work on system integration and understand overall system architecture.
  • Design and implement database schema and write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
  • Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  • Write unit tests and participate in integration testing and ensure code quality through automated and manual testing process.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for the code base and document Apis and other relevant system components.
  • Optimize existing code for better performance.
  • Stay updated on latest Java advancements and apply them to the code base when appropriate.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment and attend and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Adhere to security best practices in coding and ensure the security of applications.
  • Provide guidance and mentor junior developers.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to the collective learning of the team.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance for improvements.
  • Research on new tech stack for continuous improvements of the product.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge in Core Java fundamental, Programming Concepts, Design patterns and principles.
  • Hands on experience in Spring Framework and its stack.
  • Knowledge in Relational Databases including SQL query writing and data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of Version Control System.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD Tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Front-end stack and other Application layers.
  • Knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks and experience with integration and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience with message brokers or event streaming tools.
