We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through testing, automation, and defect tracking. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualification and Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in software testing (manual & automation). 
• Bachelors Degree in IT or any related technical disclipline.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. 
• Knowledge of security testing fundamentals. 
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.

Job Description

• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts (manual & automated). 
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello. 
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality. 
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback early in the development cycle. 
• Automate test cases using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks. 
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools. 
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices for software testing and quality assurance. 
• Participate in code reviews, requirement analysis, and sprint planning meetings. 
• Continuously improve testing strategies and contribute to process enhancement. 

Required Skills

 

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC). 
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar). 
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI. 
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript. 
• Experience with version control systems like Git. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) is a plus. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
