QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automated testing. He/She will be responsible for ensuring high product quality through detailed test planning, execution, and collaboration with the development and product teams.

Qualification and Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
•    Minimum 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
 

Job Description

•    Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback.
•    Create detailed, clear, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
•    Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities.
•    Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using open-source tools.
•    Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
•    Conduct thorough regression testing after bugs are fixed.
•    Develop and implement QA processes for both new and existing products.
•    Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define system requirements and testing scope.
•    Monitor and analyze debugging results.
•    Investigate root causes of software issues and guide teams on implementing solutions.
•    Track and report on quality metrics such as defect density and open bug counts.
•    Stay updated on the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices.
 

Required Skills

•    Hands-on experience in software development and quality assurance.
•    Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
•    Proficient in writing test plans and test cases.
•    Experience in both white-box and black-box testing.
•    Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
•    Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
•    Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
•    Exposure to performance and/or security testing is a plus.
