This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of fintech web applications through manual testing, test case creation, and data validation. It also involves learning and working with data engineering tools like SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Pentaho to support business and technical teams through data analysis and automation.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any other technical discipline
• 3-4 years of prior work experience in software/application testing.

Job Description

• Manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of web applications.
• Learn and understand fintech term and terminologies.
• Learn and research on data engineering technology stacks like SQL, python, Hadoop, spark and Kafka and Pentaho.
• Understanding business requirement & use cases
• EDA in SQL and python and recommend best use-cases to business team and engineering team
• Tasks Automation & Documentations & presentations
• Data Verification and Data Validation
• Test Plans and test cases & test scripts preparation and execution
• Team Collaboration & Co-ordination with both cross functional team and within team
• Learn and follow SDLC and project management skills

Required Skills

• SQL, Pentaho, Python, Spark and java, Hadoop framework and bigdata technology stack, Apache Airflow
• Test Execution, Manual Testing, and Software Testing skills
• Quality Assurance and Test Cases creation experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus
