We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The candidate will work closely with product, engineering, operations, QA, and external partners to analyze business needs, identify system improvements, and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, understanding of APIs and system integrations, experience in requirement gathering, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Operations, or Technical Coordination.
Job Description
- Business & Requirement Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Prepare BRD (Business Requirement Documents), FRD (Functional Requirement Documents), user stories, and workflow diagrams.
- Conduct impact analysis for new features, integrations, and platform changes.
- Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with backend developers, QA teams, product owners, and external partners.
- Support API integration discussions and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Work closely with engineering teams during development and deployment phases.
- Assist in root cause analysis for platform incidents and operational issues.
- Data & Reporting
- Analyze system data, transaction flows, and user behavior.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and insights for stakeholders.
- Support teams with SQL queries and data validation when required.
- Monitor KPIs related to user engagement, activation, retention, and redemption.
- Process Improvement
- Identify process gaps and recommend operational or technical improvements.
- Assist in system enhancement planning and workflow optimization.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure business requirements are properly validated.
- Stakeholder Management
- Communicate project updates and technical findings to business stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with internal and external teams.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of issues, changes, and resolutions.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and backend workflows.
- Basic to intermediate SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Metabase, Excel, or similar reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in fintech, digital wallets, loyalty systems, or payment platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with VAPT/security coordination and incident handling.
- Understanding of customer lifecycle management and gamification concepts.
