Support Engineer Trainee will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networks.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field.

Job Description

• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networks.
• Collaborate with the software development team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of software products and updates.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the production environment, and escalate issues to the DevOps team as needed.
• Help to automate and streamline the software delivery pipeline, using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Work with the DevOps team to design and implement disaster recovery and backup procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and software development.
• Attend training sessions and other educational opportunities to learn about DevOps tools and practices.

Required Skills

• Basic technical skills in software development and deployment, with some experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell (preferred).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced DevOps environment.
