eSewa Travels & Tours is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Android Developer to join our growing digital team. You will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our mobile applications that support tour bookings, travel planning, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building production-ready Android applications, strong knowledge of Kotlin/Java, and a passion for creating reliable, user-friendly mobile solutions in the travel and tourism domain.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 

• 3+ years of professional experience in Android application development

Job Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications for eSewaTravels & Tours

• Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Kotlin and/or Java

• Implement modern Android architectures (MVVM/Clean Architecture)

• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, maps, payment gateways, and booking systems

• Optimize application performance, usability, and reliability

• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues and production bugs

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and QA teams

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and best practices

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required

• Stay up to date with emerging Android technologies and industry trends

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java

• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle

• Experience with XML layouts, Material Design, and responsive UI development

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON integration

• Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

• Practical experience with MVVM or Clean Architecture

• Proficiency with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Room, Navigation, etc.)

• Experience integrating Firebase (Authentication, Firestore/Realtime DB, Crashlytics, Push Notifications)

• Familiarity with third-party libraries and dependency injection (e.g., Hilt/Dagger)

• Experience with performance optimization and memory management

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
