As a Data Scientist, you’ll work on projects in credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and behavioral analytics. Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience applying data science techniques in real-world projects.

Job Description

• Contribute to the design, development, and validation of predictive and machine learning models for risk scoring, early warning systems, and fraud analytics.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large financial and transactional datasets.
• Engineer and select features to improve model accuracy, interpretability, and stability.
• Collaborate with data engineers to prepare scalable, high-quality datasets and automated workflows.
• Create clear visualizations and reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Support monitoring of deployed models to ensure accuracy over time.
• Continuously expand your technical skills and stay informed on emerging tools and techniques

Required Skills

• Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience using big data tools such as HDFS, PySpark, and Hive.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with banking or digital payments domains is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Interest in credit risk, fraud detection, and behavioral analytics.
• Experience with deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and MLOps practices.
