The role of Finance Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, timely payments, and regular financial reconciliations. It involves supporting periodic financial closing, preparation of financial statements and MIS reports, and coordinating audit-related activities.

Qualification and Experience

• Master's Degree in Management domain (completed or persuing) or Chartered Accountant.
• Around 4-5 years of prior work experience in Finance related roles.

Job Description

• Responsible for booking vouchers, local purchases, merchant bills, receipts, and payment transactions accurately and on time.
• Process and settle payments to merchants, suppliers, employees, and other stakeholders within the required timeline.
• Perform timely reconciliation of bank accounts and party/vendor/customer balances.
• Complete periodic accounting and financial closing activities within the defined timelines.
• Prepare and support periodic financial statements, MIS reports, and other reports as assigned by the supervisor.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of required schedules, documents, and supporting information.
• Support business performance analysis, including cost analysis, KPI monitoring, and preparation of relevant financial insights.
• Handle monthly VAT and TDS-related activities, including calculation, filing, and payment within statutory deadlines.

Required Skills

• Highl proficient in ERP/accounting systems along with MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting & financial reporting , and VAT/TDS compliance
• Basic understanding of AI in Finance (willingness to learn and apply AI in finance-related work/Automation will be preferred.)
