The Product Owner plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology execution. This position is responsible for translating business needs into clear and actionable product requirements, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining alignment with eSewa’s vision and product roadmap. The role demands strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize tasks effectively, and drive continuous improvement in product quality and team performance.
Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO, Agile Certified Practitioner) is preferred.

3 to 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a fintech, digital wallet, software development, or technology-driven organization.

Proven track record in managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.

Experience in using JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies for product delivery and stakeholder management.
Job Description
- Take complete ownership of product requirements and delivery timelines. Ensure all business requirements are comprehensively documented, validated, and approved by relevant sponsors.
- Regularly review BRDs to identify gaps, ensure clarity, and maintain traceability. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to manage communication, report changes, and maintain alignment as per the RACI matrix.
- Derive user stories from approved BRDs, take ownership of their lifecycle, and collaborate with Leads during sprint planning to create sub-tasks, estimate efforts, and prioritize deliverables.
- Ensure timely and high-quality product releases as per the roadmap. Lead planning, tracking, and monitoring of deliverables to meet quality and performance standards.
- Work closely with Leads to resolve blockers, ensure seamless handovers across functions, and collaborate with Business Teams and clients to clarify requirements. Support the Product Manager in refining product vision aligned with eSewa’s ecosystem.
- Oversee product quality focusing on performance, scalability, usability, and security, leveraging technical leads and domain experts where necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement in Agile practices, support automation initiatives, and ensure adherence to established SOPs and product development processes.
- Use JIRA as a central dashboard for product management, release tracking, and process monitoring. Ensure proper documentation of product, development, and testing.
- Lead and participate in daily standups and team meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals, next steps, and outcomes. Promote collaboration and accountability within the team.
- Understand eSewa’s business strategy and ensure product initiatives align with organizational goals. Maintain awareness of F1Soft’s technology landscape to guide decisions effectively.
