An Associate QA Enginee will accelerate our quality assurance process and support quicker, more reliable releases, ultimately improving testing efficiency, reduce release risks, and ensure better scalability of our QA process as the product grows.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT related discipline
• 1+ year of work experience in Quality Assurance and Control roles
   

Job Description

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases.
• Create and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Identify, report, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues.
• Execute API testing, validate request/response, status codes, and error handling.
• Work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Test frontend and backend applications to ensure functionality and stability.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

• Postman, JIRA, TestRail/Sheets (for test case management)  
• Experience in software quality assurance, including Frontend and API testing.
• Manual testing, API testing, UI/UX testing    
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• HTTP methods, status codes, JSON    Basic Knowledge about JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Automation basics (Selenium/Playwright), SQL basics (Good to have)    
• Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Experience with test case management tools (JIRA.).
• Basic Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment.
