The DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across cloud environments. The role involves managing IaC, optimizing containerized workloads, ensuring system observability, and maintaining security and compliance. Working closely with data and engineering teams, the DevOps Engineer will streamline workflows, ensure high availability, and support reliable, efficient data operations.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in computer engineering and related courses
• 2+ years of work experience in DevOps role.

Job Description

• Learn and understand fintech term and terminologies.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering and analytics workloads.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of data pipelines and services across cloud environments.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Optimize containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, others) for data workloads.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Analysts to streamline development workflows.
• Implement and monitor system observability (logging, metrics, and tracing) using Prometheus, Grafana stack.
• Manage data platform environments (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or similar).
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and access control for data and infrastructure.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, data engineer and software engineers while maintaining proper documentation of data ops processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability and performance.

Required Skills

• Python, Scala, or Java, Spark
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data deployment.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• SQL, Pentaho    
• Kafka, Hadoop and bigdata technology stack  
• Apache Airflow
