The Senior Content Writer will be responsible in creating high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content across digital platforms. This role involves strategic content planning, copywriting, team collaboration, and mentoring junior writers to ensure consistency in messaging and tone. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of language, storytelling skills, and a deep understanding of audience engagement and digital content trends.
Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, SEO, or Content Marketing are a plus.
• Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital content development.
Job Description
Content Creation & Strategy:
• Write clear, engaging, and persuasive content for social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
• Develop communication strategies aligned with marketing goals and brand guidelines.
• Research audience preferences, behaviors, and market trends to tailor content effectively.
• Track user engagement, queries, and feedback to inform content planning.
Advertising & Copywriting:
• Create high-impact copy for campaigns, product descriptions, landing pages, banners, and promotional materials to drive conversions.
Collaboration & Coordination:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Business, Ads, etc.) to align messaging and campaign objectives.
• Coordinate and manage content initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Social Media & Engagement:
• Lead social media content planning, posting, and engagement strategies.
• Monitor and respond to audience interactions to enhance brand engagement.
Multimedia & Visual Content:
• Develop multimedia strategies aligned with marketing goals, incorporating video, banners, and other creative formats.
• Conceptualize, storyboard, and oversee multimedia production for campaigns.
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual and written content.
• Optimize multimedia for various devices and platforms.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Provide mentorship and support to junior content writers and collaborators.
• Quickly and professionally resolve content team challenges to ensure workflow continuity.
Required Skills
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English and Nepali (preferred).
• Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO principles, and digital platforms.
• Ability to write for different audiences and adjust tone/style accordingly.
• Proficiency in content planning tools.
• Strong research skills and the ability to simplify complex topics.
