The Product Owner (PO) will play a critical role in ensuring that the right product is built the right way at the right time- and this directly impacts the company’s bottom line.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of prior work experience in Product Management and development. (Preferrably ERP)
- Proven track record in SaaS or technology product development
Job Description
- Define and Manage the Product Backlog:
- Create, prioritize, and maintain a well-structured product backlog
- Clearly write user stories with acceptance criteria
- Ensure backlog is aligned with business goals and customer needs
- Translate business Requirements into Technical work:
- Act as a bridge between business and development teams
- Convert business objectives into actionable tasks for developers
- Ensure the team builds the right features for maximum value
- Set Sprint Goals and Guide Development:
- Define sprint goals in collaboration with scrum master and team
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Clarify feature requirements and provide feedback during development.
- Review and feedback:
- Review completed work against acceptance criteria
- Approve user stories and features that meet expectations
- Request improvements when work is incomplete or misaligned
- Gather and integrate Stakeholders’ Feedback:
- Engage with customers, business stakeholders, and users
- Continuously refine the backlog based on evolving needs
- Ensure the produt roadmap reflects feedback loops
- Own and communicate the Product vision:
- Championing the product internally and externally
- Maintain alignment between product development and strategic goals
- Communicate product vision, roadmap and priorities to all stakeholders
- Monitor Performance and Adapt Strategy
- Track metrics like user adoption, feature usage and business KPIs
- Use data to inform backlog prioritization and iteration planning
- Make decisions based on customer value and ROI

Required Technical Skills
- Analytics and tracking: Understanding of Product usage data, event tracking and user journey analysis. Tools: Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Hotjar
- Security and Compliance Basics: Understanding of Data Privacy, role-based access control, encryption basics.
- Collaboration Tools & Git: Familiarity with Git Concepts and tools like Jira, Trello, GitHub, GitLab
- Understanding of Front-end technologies: like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular
- Understanding of Back-end technologies: Languages like Node.js, Python, Java, .NET etc. and concepts of APIs, RESTful services, authentication, catching, etc.
- Database system (Relational/ No SQL): Understanding of how data is structured, queried and optimized.
- Cloud & Dev Ops Concepts: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and environment along with the different tools and platform used AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
- APIs and Integrations: Understanding of API documentation, request/response models, webhooks and third-party integrations along with tools like Postman, Swagger/Open AI.
