Software Engineer-App will lead the design and architecture of our in-house SDK.An individual will be responsible in defining the SDK's core framework, set coding standards, make critical technical decisions, develop and mentor the junior team members working on the build.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years prior experience in app development/software development. 
• Strong knowledge of Flutter, including advanced state management and mobile architecture patterns. 
• Strong command of Android and iOS, multiple OS versions, responsive/screen-size handling.

Job Description

• Own the mobile application architecture – define the structure, state-management approach, and modular design for a scalable, maintainable Flutter/Dart code base.
• Lead technical planning and estimation – translate product requirements into a technical approach, break work into tasks, and estimate effort from planning through delivery.
• Design, build and maintain the most complex, critical and security-sensitive parts of the application as high-performance, reusable and reliable code.
• Define and enforce coding standards, code quality, organization and automation.
• Own the build, release and deployment process – CI/CD, code signing, versioning and App Store / Play Store submissions.
• Lead integration with back-end services and third-party SDKs – define and align REST API contracts and integrate push-notification services
• Own application security and regulatory alignment – secure storage, certificate pinning, code obfuscation and sensitive-data handling consistent with banking/PCI-DSS requirements.
• Drive performance, quality and responsiveness – profiling, crash/ANR monitoring and resolving complex bottlenecks and bugs.
• Define testing strategy and coverage targets, provide final code-review authority and write tests for critical flows.
• Mentor the team, coordinate with product, QA, security and backend stakeholders and remain accountable for end-to-end delivery. 

Required Skills

• API design and integration – defining REST contracts, JSON handling, async programming and offline/caching strategies.
• CI/CD for mobile, code signing and store release management.
• Mobile application security in a regulated/banking context – secure storage, certificate pinning, obfuscation, OWASP MASVS, root/jailbreak detection, and PCI-DSS-aware practices.
• Performance profiling and optimization (Flutter Dev Tools – memory, rendering, app size)
• Test strategy and automation – unit, widget and integration testing with coverage gates. 
• Proficient with Git and able to set the team’s branching/version-control workflow.
• Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical and architectural decisions.
