An Associate Software Engineer - Java is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving software products in an Agile environment, using Java, Spring, and Angular, while collaborating with a team and mentoring new members.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Prior 1-2 years of work experience in related domain.

Job Description

• Analyze and understand business requirements in details
• Work in Scrum/Kanban team environment to plan the requirements
• Develop software products following standard coding practices
• Maintain software products by identifying and resolving issues
• Work collaboratively in Agile team to deliver team commitments and goals
• Maintain required documentation of own work
• Research on new technology and techniques for continuous improvement of the products
• Participate actively in retrospective meetings for continuous improvement of the team.
• Perform code review of peer developer
• Implement/follow CI/CD process
• Mentor new members for easy on-boarding to the team
• Take different roles, as required by the organization, like Scrum Master, tech lead for small projects, etc.
