The main responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer include developing comprehensive test plans for each project and creating detailed test cases with high coverage. They execute test cases thoroughly, document and report defects accurately and promptly, and develop and maintain automated test scripts. The Quality Assurance Engineer conducts performance testing to identify and address system issues, collaborates effectively with development and other teams, and maintains accurate and up-to-date test documentation.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• Minimum 2 years of experience in QA/QC, including functional, integration, and regression testing, as well as smoke testing.

Required Skills

• Ability to create manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts is essential.
• Proficiency in preparing Test Artifacts, including Test Cases, Test Plans, and Test Scripts.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems and commands.
• Familiarity with RDBMS fundamentals and the ability to write SQL queries (Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL).
• Demonstrated proven excellence in solving complex problems related to software testing.
• Basic knowledge of application logs monitoring and analysis.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, rancher, and Jenkins would be considered an added value.
• Proficient documentation skills, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Proficient in using Test Management and Bug Tracking tools
• Hands-on experience with the following tools:
• SSH, SCP, Jenkins, Docker
• Proficient in Shell scripting for both Linux and Windows environments
• Expertise in Selenium, Jmeter, Postman, and SoapUI
• Skilled in Test Automation using Java Selenium/RestAssured/Playwright/Cypress
• Proficient in Mobile Automation using Appium
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban teams
• Knowledge about Bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Redmine
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile team would be an added value.
• Experience working in the Fintech domain would be an added value.
• Persuasive in both written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical skills.
