The Mid QA Engineer role will be a proactive team member, supporting various projects by executing comprehensive testing plans, conducting quality assessments, and assisting in Web, Mobile and API automation. This role will contribute directly to project efficiency and success by ensuring high-quality deliverables and collaborating closely with team members to maintain rigorous testing standards. 

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in relevant technical discipline: BIM, BCA,BSCSIT, BIT
• 4+ years of hands-on work experience in a software QA role.
   

Job Description

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing
• Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios using test design techniques
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality across web, API, and mobile platforms
• Use automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium to design and maintain UI and functional test scripts
• Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter, K6, or LoadRunner; analyze system behavior under varying load conditions
• Validate RESTful APIs manually (Postman, SoapUI) and through automation frameworks (RestAssured, etc.)
• Verify backend data integrity and perform validation using SQL queries across databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello
• Manage and version-control test automation code using Git and integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Review and maintain QA documentation including Test Plans, RTMs, and Test Summary Reports
• Monitor key performance metrics like response time, throughput, and latency to ensure system reliability and scalability
• Conduct mobile application testing for Android and iOS platforms using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release readiness discussions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
• Continuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and automation coverage to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.
